Climate change is an existential threat, and we’re already witnessing its effects on our parks, lakes, and neighborhoods, disrupting the quality of life we all cherish. We must protect the quality of our rivers, lakes, and parks, ensuring they remain vibrant, accessible spaces for generations to come, and to work to build an environmentally just, resilient, low-carbon and equitable Minneapolis for everyone to enjoy.

Above all, our climate action must be rooted in equity. Every resident, no matter their neighborhood, deserves to be part of the solution and have access to the benefits of a sustainable, just future.
